Description: An initial standard ICAO Aviation English training based on international ICAO regulations for individuals and the global aviation industry.
Mandatory by March 05, 2008: Based on ICAO Doc 9835-AN/453, Annex 1 "Personnel Licensing", Annex 6 " Operation of an Aircraft", Annex 10 "Aeronautical Communications", Annex 11 "Air Traffic Services".

Designed for: Aeronautical station operators - pilots - air traffic controllers and all aviation personnel.

The ICAO Standards on language proficiency require that aforementioned personnel who demonstrate proficiency below the Expert Level (Level 6) shall be formally evaluated at intervals in accordance with an individual's demonstrated proficiency
level. The interval will have to be established by each Civil Aviation Authority.

In what intervals shall language proficiency be demonstrated?

The ICAO Standards on language proficiency require that airplane and helicopter pilots, air traffic controllers and aeronautical station operators who demonstrate proficiency below the Expert Level (Level 6) shall be formally evaluated at intervals in
accordance with an individual's demonstrated proficiency level.

The interval will have to be established by each Civil Aviation Authority. ICAO is recommending an interval of six years for those at the Extended Level (Level 5) and three years for those at the Operational Level (Level 4).

Descripción: Este es un estándar basado en las reglas internacionales de la OACI sobre la enseñanza del Ingles de Aviación para individuos y la industria de aviación global.
Obligatorio marzo 05 del 2008: Se basa en el DOC OACI 9835-AN/453, Anexo 1 “Licencenciatura de Personal”, Anexo 6 “Operación de aeronaves”. Anexo 10 “Comunicaciones Aeronáuticas”, Anexo 11, “Servicios de Trafico Aéreo”.

Diseñado para: Bases de operaciones aeronáuticas, - pilotos- controladores aéreos y todo el personal de aviación.

Los estándares de la OACI sobre la competencia lingüística exigen que el personal arriba mencionado que demuestre competencias menores al nivel 6 (Experto) debe ser oficialmente evaluados (asesorados) a intervalos de acuerdo al nivel de competencia
demostrada por cada individuo. El intervalo debe ser establecido por cada Autoridad de la Aviación Civil.

A que intervalos se ha de demostrar la competencia lingüística?
Los Estándares de competencia de la OACI requieren que todos los pilotos de aeronaves y helicópteros, controladores aéreos y operadores de estaciones o bases aeronáuticas que demuestren competencias bajo el Nivel 6 (Experto) deben ser oficialmente
asesorados a intervalos de acuerdo a los niveles de competencia demostrados por cada individuo.

El intervalo debe ser establecido por cada Agencia de la Aviación civil. La OACI recomienda un intervalo de seis años para quienes han logrado el nivel 5 (Avanzado) y tres años para quienes logran el nivel 4 (Nivel operacional)
